Answer: |
The driver must be positioned in the rightmost lane. From there follow the road on the turning lane (see red arrow) slow down and be prepared to stop at the Yield sign. ![]() The following is a zoom into the turning spot, where the yield sign resides. Same as the where the red arrow is in the image above. ![]() You must must be prepared to yield to drivers coming from - the left (see yellow arrow below), and - the opposite side on the front (see red arrow below) who are turning into the same lanes as you will. These two arrows represent separate events, and would not happen at the same time. They both may need to take turns and must be yielded to during the waiting in the yield position. As with every intersection, there are some directions that are more critical to observe than others. For this intersection if turning right at the yield sign, these two are extremely important to observe before proceeding to turn right. Only when no cars arrive from the two arrows and there is no danger of coliding into the right turn, should you continue your turn. The problem with mistakes in this intersection is that colisions are likely when drivers are aiming to arrive in the same positions at the same time if drivers are rushing into the turn. ![]() |

Even though a driver must observe everything that happens in
an intersection, the following directions shown by the
arrows below pose less theoretical danger when the rules are
properly observed by all drivers in the intersection. This
case only explains the turning to the right right at the
yield sign below. Different positions will have their own
different considerations. Remember that inebriated drivers may not follow these rules in such a complicated intersection. You must always pay attention to as much activity as much as you can. Engage defensive driving when other drivers do not obey the rules of the road, but most importantly: yield. ![]() |
